Well, further inspection revealed a 35t motor in the front and a 45 in the rear! I ordered 2 Holmes 40t hanwound motors and JP Customs high clearence links. I replace the final gears for Axial machined ones just for piece of mind.
I took the plunge to the Dark side after running Bergs for a little bit. I had a XR10 before but never finished it because I was concern about reliability. I recently got a chance to get my hands on an upgraded rig so I jumped on it. the truck came with almost every VP upgrade available and lots of other goodies but when I received it, I noticed it needed some TLC. Upon closer inspection, I found some things that didn't pass my "tech anal retentive inspection" so I decided to tear it up and chance and upgraded components. Here is a list of the goodies the rig came with:
The good:
-2 bodies
-HR Racing Carbon Fiber Chassis
-Axial Stage 1 alum upgrade kit including c hubs, steering and rear lockouts
-Axial stage 3 upgrade kit including Machined lowers, and upper bent links
-Chaotic Crawler Bent Steering Link
-Losi gold shock springs
-VP bushings
-VP Transmission plates
-VP Cases
-VP Bullet Weights
-Hitech 7955TG servo
-Servo armor
-Alum Longer Steering arm
-Novak M2 with dig, (Updated version)
-Novak external BEC
-Matched Novak motors
-HB Rovers
The Bad:
All the soldering needs to be redone and heat shrink added to replace all the electrical tape it came with. A small adjustment to the steering link will help align the front tires. Foams felt super soft, like it had 1.9's instead of 2.2's. Here is what I found"
Replaced those with some extra I had laying around:
Replaced stock wheels for DH's Comp:
Im currently replacing stock gears for Axial machined gears and replacing the front motor plate for a VP. The rear is already done. Also changing stock shocks for Bigbores.
Here is the body to be used:
More to follow!"thumbsup"

Got the motors in the mail Friday but still waiting on the links. I will swing by the LHS to pick up some pinions so I can have some extra in case I have to some stalling.

Still waiting on links but went ahead and put the roller together. It has new machined Axial gears installed, bigbores with 40wt oil, HH Hanwound 40t motors. Will be working on re-soldering all connections and installing electronics tonight.

I think I got this thing close to where I want it. I received JPCustoms links today. I have been working on setting the ESC to where it has some control under slow accelaration. After much reading and some help from other members of RCC, I got it dialed in to where it creeps as good as any other of my ESC's. The dig is working flawlessly also. I haven't mess with the proportional yet. I want to get it all set up and maybe then I get that working. I will be taking her to the rocks this weekend to see where it stands as I really want to make the Comp on the 19th. Video soon!
