    Scalerfreaks rubi

just ordered my first micro and im going to go the scale route with it, my second one might be a comp crawler of some sort but idk yet

havnt got the micro in the mail yet so i figured id start on the body

the chassis will be a home made leaf sprung chassis, anyways, on with the pics, c&C are welcome

not bad for $13 at walmart

body removed and ready for the flat fender conversion

backing for filling the holes in the top

    topless

tacked the cage togather with CA glue

some JB weld to give it some strength

top is sanded and painted (need to re sand and paint though)

filed down the JB with a miniature rounded file

i appologize for the delayed update guys, been busy moving into my new appartment

its not much of an update but i got the axles torn down after driving the micro around for a bit, i ordered the SMC chassis so it should be here tommorrow or monday, got the wideners on and that helped keep it from rolling, here are a few pics to show where i want the ride hight to be

    sorry for the cell pics

Yep- looks good. A set of the new Trekker tires from Losi would really set off the scale look, I'd bet.
