Hey guys, need some techincal assistance here...

I just got the aluminum and carbon clone of the D3 and have an hobbywing Xtreme stock ESC. This is the first ESC I've had that was not pre-wired (only had to solder to the moter before).

My question is about the capacitor. It is included with the pos/neg leads, but there is no specific place to attach it. In looking at my other ESCs, they have ports going into the ESC.

In researching this online, I understand that the capacitor has to be connected somewhere between the battery and the ESC.

Does this mean I just solder the capacitor to the same leads as the battery wire where it connects into the ESC?

    Any guidance appreciated!

As to next weekend, March 1st, let me know when you guys want to meet up. Cory and I breifly spoke about trying to meet in Jarell. If so, what day/times work best?

I look forward to slidin' with you again!

I will have to look at mine but I am fairly certain i soldered the cap to the + and - battery posts of the ESC.

Thanks, Steve. Yes, that's the processes. I looked online some more and eventually found some pics that show exactly what you've done :)

Ya'll still on for this upcoming weekend?
