That is a nice Super. It's cool to see a Super that is shaft driven instead of being another Clod based crawler. As for your servo question, Hitec discontinued the 5955 TG and replaced it with the 7955TG. Hitec has great customer service and a good warranty on their servos. JR makes good strong servos as well. It really comes down to you personal brand preference. Some people use 1/4 scale servos since they are cheaper and still have 300oz of torque. That is really what you need in order to move the big super tires. 300oz of torque and metal gears.
Give 20 people the same chassis & axles, and they'll build a crawler 20 different ways.

Looks good. It really reminds me of good ol rocktapus. As stated from Eddie your gonna need 300+ to turn the tires on that rig. Were you thinking of the tower hobbies 170 servo? It is the same as the old hitec 5955 and only cost $90 each.

Austin, I've been running a JR Radios Z9100T which is about $115 or so. It's got 370 oz-in of torque. I'd recommend it. I'm now running it in my 1.9 rig! :lol2:

    Re: my big ole super

It's only 8" wide and about an 8.5" wheelbase. So it's a lot smaller. I ran this servo on my 2.2 comp rig and it was great. It's just gross overkill for a 1.9, but I'm okay with that.
