Well been doing some more work to this thing.

one quick drive over my shoe revealed the open diff spider gears weren't gonna be for me. so out they came and in went a locker (thanks sgtsteve)

painted and detailed the fuel cell

did a Vaterra hinge pin mod up front to gain extra clearance since im running so narrow.
ordered two sets, different ways to do it

    29mm version and set screw

34mm version and e-clips. I added some orings after this to help keep it centered. gonna stick with this version until I get aluminum carriers for the setscrew and 29mm

I started working on suspension. swaped to 40wt in the front, and 30 wt in the back. stock springs up front. I plan to switch to harder springs and 50wt up front, its still bottoming out and flying tail high.

spring testing on rear with springs I had.

    stock springs 3# 4oz
    savage orange 3# 7oz
    AX10 Blue 5# 4oz
    asc gold 4# 5oz
    asc blue 4# 2 oz
    savage black pc 5# 11oz
    hpi black 3# 6oz
    trx red 4# 11oz
    trx blue 4# 14oz
    savage black ano 4# 10oz

ended up running the savage black anos with a 1" cut off for now.

up front im running the shocks top mount all the way out, and the lower mount all the way in to stand the shock up more and make it more stiff and effective. also raised the upper link inner mount to the upper inner hole to reduce camber gain on compression. but the stock links made massive toe in, so I had to put it back until I get turnbuckles.

added a couple light pods to the bumper

made me a spare mount relocation tab. moved it to the rear. it was too high and hid the fuel cell so I moved it back. definatly like the looks of the new location
