    Re: Mini sling

I got tired of blowing up stock driveshafts.

So I ordered 2 packs of Traxxas marine yokes

1 pack of Traxxas pede shafts

I cut down the shafts down I use tubing cutter has it leaves clean cuts making getting shafts back together easier.

Cut down. Then I popped on the yokes and driveshafts together.( you will need 2 more metal balls.)

The driveshafts simple slip on the trans outputs. Pics of them installed.

I Had a chance to run the rovers from BOWTIE. After running them, I almost didn't didn't give them back! When I got home I order a set.

Nova hook me up with a set of single stage foams. "thumbsup"
    Fronts full width
Rears I cut 1/2'' one side off them

You can tell the difference between stock foam and Nova foam.
Stock foam on left and Nova foam on the right

Here You see tall the tire is and how much clearance I gained

    Re: eric113 GC2/3

Another update, This a cool one for the GC2 guys...

I wanted to do away most the 2mm hardware. This what started with.

I first finished up my C's and grinded them.

Nexted I start on the swap. I unbolted the servo and then plate from the axle and same for the rear axle.

Next I bolted up the servo mounts onto the new GC3 servo plate

Next I drilled out the upper link holes to M3 with a drill and tap, I then put together rod ends and tap them for 3mm. Swapped the new rod ends on and bolted them to plate.

Then I drilled and the holes that mount the skid, side plates, lower links out to M3

Then bolted in the new skid with the M3 screws

    Here what it looks done.

    Pile of hardware I unbolted.
